Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 3/16/2026. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before subscribing to MyFreeMeds ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Subscription Service
MyFreeMeds offers prescription discount plan subscriptions. When you subscribe, you are enrolling in a monthly recurring subscription. Your payment method will be charged the subscription fee at the time of sign-up and then automatically each month on or around the same date until you cancel.
The subscription continues from month to month until either you or we cancel it. You will receive access to the plan benefits (including member ID and discount eligibility at participating pharmacies) for each period for which you have paid. Plan options, coverage details, and pricing are described on our website at the time of sign-up and may vary by plan and configuration (e.g., individual, with spouse, or family).
2. Billing and Payment
You authorize us to charge your designated payment method (e.g., credit or debit card) for all subscription fees. Fees are charged in advance for each billing period (e.g., the first month is charged at sign-up, and each subsequent month is charged on or around the same calendar date). The amount charged will match the plan and configuration you selected at checkout, unless we have notified you of a change in accordance with Section 8.
If a payment fails (e.g., due to insufficient funds, expired card, or card decline), we may retry the charge. We may also suspend or cancel your membership until payment is received. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current (e.g., updating your card if it expires or is replaced). Failure to pay does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must cancel as described in Section 3 if you wish to stop the subscription.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through our Cancel Membership process (see the link in the website footer) or by contacting us at customer.care@myfreemeds.com or (512) 882-5811. When you cancel, we will stop all future charges to your payment method. You will retain access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing period for which you have already paid; we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of that period (partial months).
If you cancel and later wish to rejoin, you may need to enroll again as a new subscriber, subject to our then-current plans and pricing. We reserve the right to refuse service or to cancel a membership in accordance with these Terms (e.g., for nonpayment or violation of acceptable use).
4. Refunds
Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund (e.g., duplicate charge, billing error, or other exceptional circumstance), contact us at customer.care@myfreemeds.com with your enrollment ID, transaction details, and a brief explanation. We will review your request and respond in accordance with our policies and applicable law.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer (e.g., disputing a charge without first contacting us) may result in suspension or termination of your membership and may affect your ability to subscribe in the future. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address any billing concerns.
5. Not Insurance
MyFreeMeds is not health insurance. Our plans are prescription discount programs that provide access to negotiated prices at participating pharmacies. They do not provide insurance coverage, reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs, or claims payment. Our plans are not a substitute for health insurance and should not be relied upon as your sole means of paying for prescriptions or healthcare.
Eligibility for discounts depends on participating pharmacies, the medications you purchase, and other program terms. Savings and availability may vary. We do not guarantee that every medication or pharmacy will be covered or that you will achieve any specific level of savings. You are responsible for verifying coverage and pricing with the pharmacy at the time of purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not share your membership credentials (e.g., member ID or account access) with others for unauthorized use. Each membership is intended for the enrolled member(s) only; use by others may result in termination and could affect pharmacy acceptance of the discount.
You may not use the service in any way that could harm us, our partners, other users, or third parties—including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, submitting false information, or using the service for fraud or abuse. We may suspend or terminate your membership immediately for violation of these Terms, without refund of any prepaid fees.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyFreeMeds and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service (including reliance on discounts, pharmacy participation, or program availability). This applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the service exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to Terms or Service
We may update these Terms or the subscription terms (including pricing, plan features, or billing frequency) from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Where appropriate, we may also notify you by email if we have your contact information. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of the changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date; cancellation will be processed in accordance with Section 3.
For changes that materially increase your subscription fee or materially reduce benefits, we will provide advance notice (e.g., at least 30 days where practicable) so you have the opportunity to cancel if you do not wish to continue under the new terms.
9. Contact
